Love how cozy the place was. There's no air-conditioning but still well ventilated. The staff were very accommodating and friendly towards us. Now the food is pretty cheap especially the steak, we got the USDA Ribeye and it was really tender and the seasoning is just right. The steak comes with rice but you might need an extra since it goes really well with the steak. The dirty fries was also awesome, it was crisp from serving towards the end of our dinner and not so oily. The Gambas and Adobong kangkong were also great. Going back soon to try the other dishes.

I was surprise how lively the vibe and atmosphere. Good thing I found this around Kapitolyo The place is big, clean and neat.. kid friendly. Staffs are nice, helpful and attentive. They serve filipino dishes. Food is good, quality steak. price is affordable. Parking is available just outside the resto. Serving time is 10mins. Definitely worth coming back. Will recommend this to my family, friends and workmates.

The steak was juicy and tender, with a taste that matched its price--great value for money :) The al fresco setting was comfortable and surprisingly not too hot. To top it off, the banana smoothie was delicious. Overall, a great dining experience with affordable yet satisfying options :)

If you're looking for a place that has great ambiance whether you're going for a casual dinner, a family eat-out, or a night of drinks and good food with friends, this place ticks all the boxes. Has a semi-al fresco dining space (indoor open-air), clean facilities, and most of all, friendly staff. Food is reasonably priced and comes in good-sized portions. They have a nice assortment of steak/grill offerings, bar chow, and a handful of Filipino dishes. Being that this is a Filipino neighborhood-style steak restaurant, don't expect thick, expensive cuts. The steaks however, offer very good value, with their Porterhouse at just 340 per plate. If you're particular with your steak's doneness, ask them to cook it one step further than your preference. Works every time. Highly recommended.

I love their steak, it's very value for money. Don't expect mamou level, but definitely one of the best steaks in the sub 1K price range. Also love their ensaladang talong. Service was good and ambience was okay. However, be prepared to swelter a bit if dining during lunch or humid days as it is open air.

I ordered the Rib-eye steak and grilled sisig. The steak was reasonably good for its price. However, it would have been even better with more vegetable garnish. Additionally, the fascia wasn’t properly removed, making some parts overly chewy. Despite that, overall, it was satisfying, and I appreciate that the restaurant is conveniently close to my home. As for the grilled sisig, a slightly larger portion would have made it perfect. The added chilies gave it a bit of spice, which I personally enjoyed as a fan of spicy food—it added a great kick. I’ve seen some reviews mentioning that the staff here are not particularly friendly. However, the female staff member who assisted me was kind and very attentive. I’ve visited twice so far and would happily return again and again.

I don’t know much about steaks but this is definitely a good option to have one. Got the Ribeye steak and the staff was kind enough to suggest the best option of doneness coz again, I don’t know much about it I just enjoy eating good food and they offer a lot. The place is well ventilated! So cozy and aesthetic for the gram. The place is clean. 3 slot parking in front and probably available street parking outside. It was not crowded when we went around 4pm - afternoon opening. Pet-friendly

Our latest discovery in Kapitolyo. Let’s just say that we enjoyed their less-than-500-peso steaks more than the 5,000 and 6,000 peso steaks we had at Mamou’s. Maybe it’s partly because they’re so affordable, that it adds to the positive experience, while at Mamou, every time you put a slice of steak in your mouth you can hear your bank breaking. But seriously, STKLab is a gem. We ordered two kinds of steaks: Angus and Ribeye, and both were winners, more so because they’re both just 490 pesos each, and already includes a cup of rice and a small serving of carrots & corn sidings. The meat are tender and flavored well. (Although curiously, I don’t remember the staff asking us how we wanted our steaks: rare, medium or well done. Anyhow, not an issue, as they cooked the steaks just fine.) We also ordered their Blueberry Cheesecake for dessert, and it was delicious. I think Starbucks’ is a little more delicious (just a bit), but STKLab’s has more density in it, which means it’s more filling; it can definitely hold its own! Their french fries are good too, better than what you get at fastfood restaurants including Burger King, which serves fries superior to McDonald’s and Jollibee. Their house blend iced tea is good too—not at all too sweet. Their staff are wonderful too. Quite helpful, warm, and polite. STKLab doesn’t have service charge, so it’ll be good to leave a generous tip to the staff for their good service. The serving time is quite prompt. They served all our orders (three steaks, french fries, iced tea, blueberry cheesecake) in less than 15 minutes after we placed our orders. The only downsides to STKLab are: 1) it’s an open air restaurant, so it might get quite hot here during really hot days. In my opinion, it’s best to dine here in the evening. In any case, dress lightly if you do decide to have lunch here on a hot day. 2) they have parking in front, good for maybe two or three cars. The rest would have to park on the street, which could be a challenge if you come here at a busy time. Alternatively, you can park at a nearby McDonald’s, but make sure to buy enough takeout from McDonald’s as a matter of courtesy, or just GrabCar yourselves to this place. I’m adding this to my family’s short list of favorite restaurants, worth coming back to over and over again!

Excellent service paired with great food. The steak was a pleasant surprise as it was cooked the way we liked it, in this case, medium. The grilled squid had a bit of a rubbery mouth-feel, it tasted so good. The chicharong bulaklak had both chew and crunch and came with kropek. Very attentive staff. While the place does not have air-conditioning, it's well ventilated.
